The great Japanese tattoo artist Horiyoshi 3 has opened up his personal collection of photos and drawings for an intimate view of his life and works.
This app will allow you to view photos and images of: Horiyoshi 3 in his studio, his tattooing, his art, and items in the tattoo museum run by his wife.
There is a selection of drawings from his book DRAGONS and never before seen sketches from his personal collection.
This app will be updated periodically with new material that will include a video interview with the master at his studio.

I am very honored to have gotten to be a part of this project and to have had the opportunity to work with Horiyoshi 3, who is an amazing artist and a beautiful person. He truly is a master at what he does, and this app conveys his talents and work in a stunning array of photos, artworks and sketches that you cant find anywhere else in the app store. My favorite reference app!!
Well worth the money, Ive used it alot in the past week and have learned so much from the artwork. I use it on my Iphone4 with no issues except when viewing the irezumi, the pictures of full suits cant be seen that well because of how small the images are and No Zoom! Thanks for putting this out there!!!

I was looking to buy the actual 100 dragons book at a discounted price of 70 usd later today, but Im glad I caught a glimpse of this app which have the references I was searching for and more! The best part is the uber cheap price! Well within the budget of your average starving apprentice! Arigatto gozaimasu Horiyoshi-Sensei!
